What event glam needs to survive

• Flash photography. Some powders and high-SPF products reflect flash and show up as white patches. A professional chooses products that photograph cleanly.
• Many angles at once. On a red carpet, several photographers shoot at the same time, and images often go online the same night.
• Long hours. Skin prep and setting matter more than the amount of product.
• Warm rooms and dancing. Plan for shine control and, on long nights, a touch-up.

Getting ready at your hotel

Izidora comes to where you're getting ready, whether that's your hotel room, a rented villa or a venue dressing room, and brings professional lights, so the quality of the room's lighting doesn't matter. Have a table near a power outlet and a chair you can sit in for about an hour. If your dress or jacket is delicate, wear a button-front shirt and change after.

Touch-ups and day-to-night changes

For long events, the artist can stay on site through the day to keep your look fresh, or change it completely between a daytime program and the evening. This is useful for conferences that end in a gala, or a premiere followed by an afterparty.

Groups

Booking several guests? Assistants and additional makeup artists join for larger groups so everyone is ready on time. Give the number of people and the time everyone has to be ready, not the start time of the event.
